Speaking of the collaboration, TSF Founder Sumaira Ahmed says, “TSF has always had a global mission and a special focus on providing better support to patients in vulnerable and resource-limited situations. Our partnership with Caminemos perfectly aligns with this mission, and could benefit patients in various ways, for example, through enabling first-time consultations at preferential prices, early diagnosis and proper treatment recommendations, disease awareness campaigns, and timely access to relevant information in their own language.”

Echoing these sentiments, Antonieta Sea Loranca from Caminemos says, “We are very happy about this new alliance for the benefit of all people living with a demyelinating disease, especially NMO and MOGAD. Thank you to The Sumaira Foundation for joining efforts so that all of us patients with demyelinating diseases are better!

The Sumaira Foundation encourages Mexican NMOSD patients and caregivers to explore our comprehensive website (available in Spanish), join our private online group – Grupo Latinoamericano de NMO/MOG, attend a El Proyecto Colectivo Humano support group meeting, and connect with Spanish-speaking TSF Ambassadors Gabi (Mexico), Johanna (Colombia), Pamela (Bolivia), Marie (US) and Karla (US).
