DESCRIPTION:The Sumaira Foundation is pleased to invite you to TSF’s New York City Patient Day\, a day exclusively dedicated to NMOSD & MOGAD patients\, caregivers and clinicians. \nJoin us for a day of education\, community\, and fun where you’ll \n\nMeet local NMOSD & MOGAD patients\, caregivers and clinicians from and around New York City\nAsk experts questions in real time about symptom management\, treatments and therapies\, comorbidities and more\nLearn about updates on the latest research and findings from local key opinion leaders\nMake connections and engage in meaningful discussions with the local NMOSD/MOGAD community\n\nPLUS! We’ll be joined by special guest and celebrity chef\, Christine Ha! Christine was diagnosed with NMOSD after experiencing severe vision loss in 2003. Christine was the first blind contestant to ever appear on MasterChef and the winner of its third season in 2012. In 2023\, Christine is a proud chef\, writer\, TV host and NMOSD advocate. \nThis is a free event brought to you by The Sumaira Foundation in collaboration with the Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA).
